A water wall, climbing frame and slide, ride on toys, skittle alley, hopscotch and more. A large gazebo offers shelter from the elements and somewhere for the adults to sit and relax as the kids enjoy all the activities.
* After each session, the toys and equipment are cleaned and sanitized.
* Toilet and nappy changing facilities are available.
* Bring your own refreshments.
We’ve decided not to set a fixed charge for this activity, but would welcome any donations towards the costs of our kids activities.
We are starting by opening just a few sessions to gauge interest with this idea. Starting on Wednesday  26 and Thursday 27 Aug at10am, 11am and 12Noon then same times on Tuesdays and Thursdays for the next few weeks. If it proves popular we will add more sessions.

Fruity activities

Summer Eye Spy

As you walk around Tring, try to find all these places. Download the pictures, or view them on your phone. Why not make it a family competition, or link up with another family and compare your answers over a picnic in Memoral Gardens.

Temporarily closed

Our usual weekly activities (outlined below) are currently closed due to the Covid-19 restrictions.

 

Junior Church

Most Sundays, during morning worship at 10.30am, the children and young people go out for part of the service to enjoy activities exploring the Bible in their groups.

 

Midweek Activities

Midweek activities take place every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday during term time. 

 

 

 

 

Messy Church

Messy Church happens three times a year.

Open to all ages, it’s an opportunity to attend an informal and creative family afternoon of arts and crafts and a chance to meet with others .

Who Let the Dads Out?

Dads, grandads and uncles bring the children to enjoy toys, games, sports TV and bacon butties!

Meeting on the first Saturday of the month from 8.30 to 10am. Suitable for children 0 to 7years.

 

Midweek Activities

Midweek activities take place every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning during term time. Parents, carers and children are welcome to all groups. There is a fee of £3 per family, but if this causes a difficulty please let us know. Refreshments for children and adults are available. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Activity Room

Tuesday 9.30am – 11.30am

Cut, paint and glue – do it here, not at home! Join in and enjoy a coffee and chat.

Tots

Wednesdays 9.30 – 11.30am

Slides, climbing frame, bikes and toys.  Plenty of things for active kids.

Play Cafe

Thursdays 9.30am – 11.30am

Safe play area and soft play shapes. Lots of baby toys, coffee and cakes.

Junior Church

Most Sundays, during morning worship at 10.30am, the children and young people go out for part of the service to enjoy activities exploring the Bible in their groups. All the groups are faciliated by at least two leaders and follow Scripture Union curriculum.

Scramblers 

0-5 years

Our under-5s hear a story then there are craft and play options for them to choose from. (If your child is under 3, please accompany them to Scramblers.)

Adventurers

5-8 years

Our Adventurers become familiar with New and Old Testament stories and use creative activities to illustrate the messages they learn.

Explorers

8-10 years

The Explorers delve deeper into Bible stories and topics. They are encouraged to ask questions and think about how to apply Christian values in their lives.

Discoverers

10-14 years

The Discoverers explore some of the deeper issues associated with faith. They are encouraged to engage in wider church activities as they transition from Junior Church.
